1st Drive - I Am Thrilled!

Other than test driving the car during the purchase, which was like 13 degrees in Delaware on January 15th, I took Lucy out for her first spin under my ownership.

Having never owned or driven an MG I was completely captivated with the experience.

Enjoyed my first visit to Pittsburg in summer 2019. I bet there are a lot of great MG roads to explore.

That may be true

. However, I live in Prattsburgh, NY. Never been to Pittsburgh with my car. Near me in the finger lakes there's a plethora of windy country roads.

Since I was a teenager I had a thing for MGs. My family lived in Delaware but regularly visited my grandparents in West Virginia, driving over the mountains on Rt. 50. I used to think I'd love to make that trip in an MG. I subsequently had a '71 B for years, but I never ventured through the mountains. Then I got a Miata and have enjoyed the trip several times, although my grandparents passed long ago. I still have the Miata, but now also a '79 B and I'm wondering if this will be the year to make that drive. It's about 200 miles one-way, but what could possibly go wrong?
