Well I have a second car to drive over the winter.. So I get work on the Spit over the winter...
My Mother, and sisters live in Olathe Kansas. So I went for a visit and went to Victoria British. Bought a few parts.
Rear spring Bushings
Rear Radius Arm bushings
Sound Insulation
Door Seals
Window seals
No I need to put it all in!
I started with removing the Rear Leaf Spring and Radius Arms from the car.
Sanded off the rust, put in the new bushings
Put in new Teflon button I had made by a friend in Van Buren, OH.
Primed
Painted Glossy Black
They are sitting on my workbench ready to go back in.
I decided to make the car a little prettier while it was sitting.
I bought a can of Inca Yellow spray paint from my local Napa Store.
It looks great!
I black paint was coming off the front wipers, so they got a sanding, Primer, Black and Clear Coat. They look great!
Now the weather is too cold to paint any further, so I have to wait for warmer weather to do much more.
Very enjoyable winter so far. Hope it turns to an even more enjoyable Spring...
