Completed the installation of the LED tail lights from BMC yesterday. Installation was a little more complicated than expected. Had to bend the reflectors so I could install the lower LED assembly. Also had to deal with waterproofing. I've used tycon stuffed in the space between the two edges of the lens. May have to use silicon later to make sure no water gets into the tail light assembly. LED tail lights are extremely brighter than the usual bulbs. You can really see the difference in total darkness. The hardest part of the installation was inserting the bullet connectors in the connector sleeves. I'm pleased with the result. At least someone following me will see when the brakes are applied. Turn signals are also brighter.
