I discovered that the previous owner loaded allot of bondo to repair the front left fender. So much so, that it was better to take a fender from my 71 MGB donor car. (The donor car is really saving me allot and has turned out to be a blessing.) Although the donor fender had a rusted out area shown in the photo, it was still better than the current fender. I cut off the bottom section, used a flange press to create a flange, and MIG welded in the patch. Its not factory quality, but shucks, its my work. Now that all the body welding is done that I can find, its time to finish the leaf springs that I started. Once that's done, I'll do the lead work to smooth out all the body welding.
