Total body off frame restoration completed in 2014. 2814 miles at purchase. It's a driver. Rebuilt gearbox December 2020. Changed the differential gear to 4.3 to 1 for better driveability. Will now cruise at about 70 mph at 3900 rpm. Used MGA gears in the original 1953 TD Differential. It appears as stock. Fenders removed 4/3/2021 for prep and repaint. Now British Racing Green. Now 4200 miles since restoration.
Correction 5/2/21: Won't run 70 mph. I got 65 mph at 4000 rpms. New tires 4/29/21. I have a front end shimmy at 62-65 mph... So I keep it at 60 mph and lower. Used a GPS to determine speed. Using stock (Unrestored) Tachometer to determine RPMs. Want an electronic tach to verify the mechanical one.
