OK I Suck At Journaling

In fact I completely forgot about it. Sorry. Anyway, the white GT (aka Ghost) is running. Rebuilt the engine and front suspension and replaced every bit and piece of the fuel system (completely clogged and rotted) and the brake system. I don't fool around with brakes, so everything got replaced. Next on the list? This winter my buddy Jason and I picked up a rotted '67 parts car cheap. I parted most of it out, but kept the overdrive transmission and some of the more "fiddly bits" that had...

Long Time...

I've been picking at this car for a bit now. I finally got the '76 Midget totally sorted and tucked away for the winter and thought I could start in earnest on the GT, then my son decides to get a '74 MGB for his daily driver, except it doesn't run ('Uh, Dad, a little help....?" So now I am working on two B's at the same time again. At least I got the head off to the machine shop and that should be done Friday. I'm hoping to cajole a couple of club members into coming over this weekend...

Engine Not Siezed

Found that the engine was in fact able to turn. The issue was this: Guess I'll also be doing a complete cooling system flush. -David

Last week I replaced the two 6v batteries with a 26R single 12v using a universal mounting kit from the local auto parts place. Also replaced the aged, beaten-t-death battery terminals. I found that a family of rodents had been domiciled in the air cleaners and had been using the front HS4 as a sunflower seed storage...
