Sold MGB Bought BMW Z3 2.3

The MG was sold on April 14th. On the 16th I bought my Z3. I know I am going to miss the MG culture and one day I may be in the position to have both. For someone who wants to drive more and work less on their car the z3,so far, seems to be a great option.

Almost 3 Months Of Ownership

It's been three months now since I get my B on ebay. Better start this now as so much has happened that I'll soon forget. The car was a restoration performed by the previous owner that looks very nice although still needing some attention. Luckily, the car is virtually rust free and some minor work commenced. Added new rear drums so that the hand brake now works. Installed the PECO exhaust system. Wow, that made a huge difference in the car's ability to pull when you get on it a bit. Huge difference. The electrical was an ongoing mystery but I believe we got the final key to the equation. Replaced the ignition switch assembly and the last of the gremlins seems to have disappeared. Replaced the temp gauge and voltage stabilizer (just in case) so now the car is not showing it's running HOT all...
