Winter Project #3 – LED Dashboard Lights - MGB

Thanks to several folks on MGE who recommended these LED replacement bulbs on eBay:

These work great and are inexpensive - $8 for a bag of 10! Free shipping from China.
Below is a photo (poor quality) that shows the difference between the standard bulb on the right and the new LED on the left.

I'm coming in late on this conversation. As it happens I am ditching my butt-ugly dashboard on my 68 B-GT and have been giving thought to the same conversion. Did you go for the White or Warm White?

Exactly what is involved in swapping out the dash lighting Is this a difficult task? Would love to upgrade my mgb's interior lighting Also does anyone have any info on updating the brake/taillights?
