bought gt last week got it home ok, was nice to drive and sounds great, went to start it later that day and no joy, after much fiddling decided that batteries were dead, one of the 6v batteries seemed ok but other was losing power, decided to change to a single 12v battery, searched interweb and found a type 063 that fitted the bill, i ordered the battery on wednesday from 'battery2u' and it arrived on friday by standard post. battery fitted straight in with no problems and managed to get earth cable into drivers side box, little tap on starter motor and me little bgt came to life again.
this was not only my first ever job on car but first mechanical thing i have ever tried, with haynes manual at theready my next two tasks are to get the dashboard dial lights working and seal up a leaking tailgate, any help anyone can give me will be great, thanks n tata for now
