The Pittsburgh International Race Complex is an exciting 2.8 mile track with great elevation changes, fast sections and big runoff areas. Drivers who race in the Kastner Cup can race the following weekend through the Streets of Schenley Park, its a unique street race that winds through a city park and golf course – vintage racing like it was in the late 50’s, hay bales and all.
The 2018 Kastner Cup will be contested at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Beaver, PA on the July 6-8 weekend. Triumphs will run within their respective race groups with other sports cars throughout the weekend and the Kastner Cup will be a dedicated 40 minute race on Saturday, July 7 at approximately 4:00 pm.
The PVGP Historics started in 2004 and have grown over the past decade into a vintage race event that stands alone. Pittsburgh International Race Complex is the ideal venue for racing Triumphs. This purpose-built track, 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.Pittsburgh International Race Complex expanded the track in 2015, adding a 1.2 miles that stretches the entire circuit out to 2.8 heart pounding miles.
There will be a special Triumph paddock at PIRC and tent located on the lawn behind the lower garage. More details on the website above.
