The MG TF is the last Longbridge built MG sports car series before the closure of the factory, Many MGCC members have bought these from normal customers quite cheaply and are bringing them up to MG club standard. These are the last real MGs.
These are modern mid engined cars with great performance and handling as well as good build quality although very different to work on than earlier cars. In styling terms, they are very attractive and are really MGs in every respect.
It is very satisfying to buy a classic car before it has had time to rust and to bring it back to classic car standards even if the wiring diagram has 60 pages and the car has an alloy based twin ohc interference engine.
