ONE OF THE LOWEST MILEAGE ALFA SPIDERS IN THE COUNTRY
Perhaps one of the lowest mileage spiders in the country at 18,900 miles, in solid #2 condition. I am the third owner and have only driven it on sunny days. It has always stored inside and it shows. The original owner only drove the car back and forth from the train station in Princeton where they lived. It is sold with the original manual and service log book.
GENERAL IMPRESSIONS:
The car is straight with a nice stance, excellent quality bright work and rubber trim, no rust, and two eraser size dings (hardly noticable). Recently all of the necessary service was performed including oil change, tune-up, new fluids, and new battery. All of the gauges, washer jets and the wipers work. The door gaps are nice and even, and the canvas top is new and in perfect condition, as is the rear window.
INTERIOR:
The seats are the original black vinyl with black carpet and new visors. The door panels are in excellent condition with no scuffs. Only flaw is a slight tear on the drivers side seat which is easily mended (see picture).
DRIVING IMPRESSIONS:
The clutch engages smoothly and the car runs straight. All the shocks keep the wheels properly planted and offer a firm comfortable ride. The car responds to all input in a very nice fashion, handling is predictable and easy to control.
SUMMARY:
It is very fun to drive, starts right up and has enough power to pull hills and enjoy the twisty two lanes, and major highways. It will certainly attract admirers whether parked or driven. Overall, it shows as a excellent vintage vehicle that displays the care it has received through the years. There are certainly less expensive spiders on the market, but very few with less than 20K miles and in this kind of shape.
