This is primarily an unrestored original with some exception. I do not think the engine is original. Running lights are LED. The smog equipment is not installed but I think I might still have. Top is bad but it has been garage stored for the past 15 years. I take it out roughly once a week for 10 or so miles. Minor (common) rust spots, not large holes on the rear rocker panels.

This is a car that could easily be restored with someone that has excess parts and the space and the time. I have reduced the asking price from 3500 to 2250 because the clutch is needed sooner rather than later. I had a possible buyer that took it out for a test drive and smoked the clutch and I didn't realize this until weeks later.

I want to be fair but not insulted.

If anything, that price is way tooooooo low............ My '77 got wrinkled 4 years ago at a hillclimb and will probably never make a recovery..... If I was closer, I would be there to buy it before this message reaches NC.........

I'm not so sure,...seems there are plenty of MG's in the $4 - $5K range that look fairly nice. Of course, it's just a picture. I am very close to go ahead and pull the engine to replace the clutch but I'd rather not. (It's 90% gone for reasons already stated) I have another project car (non-MG) that I am working on. Everyone usually wants more than what a buyer is willing pay. I was hoping to be an exception. I have 50+ pics I can email anyone that shows the good/bad/ugly. I truly wish I could keep this but with 7 cars in the garage/driveway and a daughter in college (wanting of course, a car), I can't handle it. This is a perfect car for someone who already has the know-how.
