Original unrestored. But maintained .bad paint job before I bought it. Seats recovered with tan corduroy obtained from Britain. Tan interior. Has essentially no rust because previous owner and myself stored car inside and seldom used in rain and never in winter( salt) conditions. No overdrive unfortunately. Some common upgrades like minlite type wheels. Have originals. Petronics ignition rebuild distributor by Rimmer Bros in Britain. Rocker shaft oil kit. Spax adjustable shocks all round new front and rear road springs. Other suspension repairs. Universals etc As usual.
Basically everything works.
An engine knock that I suspect is a small end has always been evident since I got the car??? Oil pressure good doesn’t knock on start up.
I bought a factory replacement short block I found 20 years ago. It has never been run! But have never got around to swapping it out.
I’m interested in hearing from someone in the Victoria area
Who is a Triumph fan and may have contacts for parts and resources locally on Vancouver Island.
