I've owned the car for 5 years or so - maybe put 1k miles on the car since owning it and always garaged. My understanding is that the car was originally from NC, but I purchased it in PA. I believe the car was originally brown.
The PO did much of the work on the car including paint/body/interior/mechanical, and I've gone through the car to fix some mechanical and electrical issues. Engine is untouched (as far as I know), but I went through the gearbox and fixed some issues. Engine idles well and runs strong. Trans is quiet and shifts well.
