Recessed grill model (1970-2), Harvest Gold paint (1972-6).
Twin SU HIF-4 carbs, fascia vents, ROstyles.
Sold new 5/7/72 in Vaduz, Liechtenstein,
Exported to England 1975, with 20,000 miles, sold.
Garaged in Majorca, as a vacation car, 1976-86.
Returned to London, garaged 1986-89.
Bought by myself August 1989 in London with 30,000 miles.
Imported to Switzerland Sept. 1990, customs cleared.
Garaged 1991-94.
Restoration, 1994-99, Phocle Workshops, engine, gearbox, sills, castle rails, interior, with 40,000 miles.
Used as daily vehicle 1999-2016, as occasional vehicle 2016-20.
Restoration, 2020-21, bodywork, interior, to original specs, with 80,000 miles.
Fitted with Sony minidisc player (remember them? indestructible, crystal clear sound. This one even records!), CD- and MD-autochangers in the boot with an XA-C30 source selector, 8" ampli-subwoofer in place of map pocket in passenger footwell, 6.5" Retrosound door speakers. Good sound solutions!
Now registered in Switzerland as a 'veteran' vehicle, which restricts use to 2000 miles per year, but only requires inspection every six years. No hood - sunny days only! I'm all done with rust!
