Gold Stripe is from Anniversary MGB, the Queens Jubliee Edition. It is 24 karat gold on mylar produced by 3M. The car has an overdrive, non-synchro trans with an AMCO center console, and is a Special Edition model from 1967.

Byron,Dealers, in an effort to move cars added a Personal Wood Steering wheel, a fender mounted mirror, dash plaques on each front fender and wire wheels. Inside was another dash mounted plaque. There was a range of car numbers during which they offered almost 1000 cars. There is a "Special" website on the NAMGBR for more info. Hope this helps...Dave

Thanks for the info Dave. I'll have to check the website. I recently picked up a 67 BGT. It had the LL steering wheel and the mirrored fender, but none of the plaques that you referred to. Previous owner hinted also that it's possible that it could be a special. He didn't know for sure. Thanks again for the response.
