Just received a report from a classic auto shop that the frame of my beautiful MkII MGA has rust issues. The worst is on the left rear where the leaf spring and frame meet.
In addition, axle seals are leaking, rear brakes need replacing, and one of the wire wheels needs rebuilding/replacing.
It drives really well and the engine runs strong. In 2023 it had a new stainless steel exhaust system, a Petronix flamethrower distributor, and a new Borg and Beck 23 spline clutch kit.
I will send interested parties a copy of the shop report which also contains photos.
