Family folklore- My Great Uncle bought the car new in 1954 when my Uncle (his nephew, close in age) bought the same, while their friend bought a corvette. they were young and in their '20 working for the SFWD. All three enjoyed the town cruising around together with my teenage mother in tow at times.
Fact- It has been garaged since new in his garages in Sunset District of San Francisco which he acquired before the car. Since I can remember (born in the '60) He and his wife would drive it on rare sunny days, went on a few MG clubs road trips and events. He change title and gifted the car to my G. Aunt as a wedding present in the early sixties.
By all appearances and lore the car is in original condition. It starts and runs within three tries; in all temperatures and climates thus far that I have exposed her to.
