This car is presently going through a "refresh," (restoration would be too strong of a word). It has been known to the MMM Register as 2M-2860 for decades, but during its current re-fresh, a paint strip of the chassis has revealed a chassis number of 2M 2193. At this point the long history as 2M-2860 has the momentum, but I will evaluate if switching it to 2M-2193. Our Register Lead, Robin Hamblett is recording this situation on the register at this point.
