Polystyrene Sheet

Thinking of building the new car body with mono-cock constriction using polystyrene. the laminate would be water based paint over fly screen door coverings .All attachments points would be wood clued into place with a water based glue Before the fly screen covering giving a large surface area and therefore strength. Cars could be built in the tens of kilos instead of the hundreds of kg. The heaviest thing would be the engine. This system is poor mans sip panels. Any thoughts?
