Getting My Dana 44 Rear Axle And 4-link Mounted Up

This 4-link and Dana 44 rear-end have been a real problem for me. There are a lot of assumptions in the 4-link install that have to do with keeping your original axle that just don't apply to an entirely new axle. This is obvious, I am doing something very much not normal in an already not normal upgrade. The problem was that I had no fixed attach points to reference from. Axle perches are new, the pinion angle is new, and the upper and lower links are new. There are just no static locations...

My Dana 44 rear axle came with impossible (for me) to adapt to my needs caliper brackets. Jim Nichols ( 260MGB ) turned me on to Nissan Altima vented rotors and some TBird calipers with internal e-brake. My process was to LIDAR scan the caliper and my existing mounting bracket with my iPhone using Kiri, an app for 3d scanning. From there we brought it into Shapr3d to get proper measurements for all bolts, angles etc, and began an iterative process of 3d print, fit, modify, repeat...
