I have always been into cars. To this point I have only worked on american muscle cars so this a MGB GT is going to be a different challege. I have owned a camaro, GTA trans-am, two corvettes and two mustangs. I still have the two mustangs and a corvette. My wife wanted a british car after we visited England a couple years ago. I have been on the look out for a while for the right MGB GT. I wanted a car that did not have much rust. I didn't car about the rest since I am going to repaint the car and repair or replace most of the mechanical components as well.

Car Is Running

Posted on: Tuesday February 16, 2010

Got the car running this past weekend. Took the fuel pump off and cleaned the points. The car started after fuel finally got to the carb. The clutch is not working but I will address that next weekend. Started to strip off the paint on the top of the car. I am hoping to have the car stripped and in primer in the next month and a half.
