I got my first Triumph (which I still have) In 1970 by trading a wrecked and rolled 59 Ford pickup to two hippies moving to a commune in Oregon. When my wife wanted to drive my '59(mostly) TR3 (Gladys, my car, not my wife) I told her that wasn't allowed, so we now have her '73 TR6 (Pearl) and working on restoration of a '73 Spitfire.
