Day 2

Day 2- Attacked the passenger side rear axel seal. This side was not leaking like the driver side, but I had the parts so I replaced it anyway. I expected it to go a lot faster but my 13 year old son wanted to help. I'll accept the delays for the opportunity to work with my son and teach him about working on cars.
Getting Started Again

Megan has been under a tarp for the last few years as I have gone back to school for my MBA, coached my son's soccer team, etc... I finished school last July and the goal was to get her running for the British Field Day on June 16th. Home repairs popped up delaying work some more. I finally decided enough was enough and took a week off of work to make a best effort to get her on the road before Saturday. There is a lot of work to be done so I'm not optimistic, but I am still making progress...
Master Cylinders

I have finally derustified the Brake and Clutch Master Cylinders! A good soak in Evapo-Rust (good stuff!!!) the rust was gone and I used Rustoleum rust reformer primer and then Rustoleum silver to make them pretty again and hopefully retard the return of the rust. I have reassembled the clutch master cylinder, but I still need to go through the Brake Master Cyl.
Electronic Ignition

I have swapped out the points for a Pertronix electronic ignition. It took two different ignition sets and a little head scratching but it was simple once I figured it out. First I bought the correct part for a '70 B. Once I tore out the points and condenser I checked the new parts to the distributor housing.
