Distributor Clamp

Has anyone figured out the perfect wrench for this job. 77 MGB, Not enough room to manuver even my smallest ratchet, and if I advance the distributor clockwise the vacuum advance box blocks out any opportunity to put a box wrench on it. I've found clamp wrenchs in 1/2" and 9/16" but nothing in 7/16". I'm going to need a vise and a torch, aren't I?
Blowing The Fuse

I recently replaced the coil and electronic Ignition. Went from the old "black box" to a new Pertronix ignitor. Marked all wires carefully to the coil. Car starts fine, but I blow the fuse that handles ignition activated components. Tach, wipers, etc. I don't know. I'm running out of fuses.

I've owned my '77 B since 1981. My third by the way. Moved from the Carolinas to Fla. 5 yrs ago. Took a full year to find a mechanic I felt truely knew MGs. He's very good, David Gerard of the Olde English Garage. However he is 20 miles away. Couldn't get the old gal started for several weeks and didnt have the time, money or desire to have it towed to the garage. After a lot of testing was convinced the problem was electrical.
