Been playing with British cars since 1974 when I first taught myself how to shift a manual box Austin Marina. Spent the next couple of weeks teaching myself how to rebuild a manual box after trying to shift into reverse without the clutch.

So there she was, sitting forlornly in the corner. Flat battery, no smog certificate and oil all over the engine compartment. On the bright side was that she had been kitted out with a Moss fuel injection system before the owner decided to bail out. That and the price, which was more than reasonable.
