It's Been Awhile.....

I've been working on my car again fixing some of the little jobs on Agatha that I haven't gotten around to. Life got in the way and it's been years since I really felt like working on car projects. One of the jobs was to put in the headlight relay that I bought about 7 years ago the other is organize my wiring mess left by previous owners and lastly replace burned out headlight. It is never too late to start again old projects.

Had a busy spring, spent time getting the house ready for paint and digging plants away from the foundation, so had to put working on Agatha on the back burner. In the early part of June I had time to work on the car and was able to clean and replace some of the connectors on the headlight wiring and replace a bad headlight switch. Turned on the headlights and the passenger side was bright and the driver side was dim. Once again had to postpone working on the car some more as I had to repair...

Working On Electric System

Put battery in the car and hooked it up. No power anywhere. Talked to a friend in my car club about my problem, I'm not to good at trouble shooting electrical systems so he came by on Friday and helped me out. Brown wires to the starter were hooked up wrong is what we found out. I now know the next step on checking my wiring, I hope to work some more today on the car. Spring has sprung !

Wasn't too sure what condition of the frames were going to be in after stripping the covers and seat foams off. What a nice surprise I found, both appeared to have surface rust ( old owner had the car sitting open to the elements) . After removing the rust with wire brush, the welds and other areas were in good shape , no breaks ! I now have one seat frame ready for paint today and the other ready for rust and paint removal. I am still waiting on the new clips to show up, the old ones were in...
