As of this date 8/2014 the B has been in the body shop at HD Paint & Body since 7/2013! It started last June when I met a guy who could Sodablast my peeling and cracked 20 year old paint for only $900. He also could dismantle the body chrome and interior for $300 more. So I did that and of course could now see just what condition the body was in. I had holes rusted through in the usual places nothing real scary. I shopped around and Hon at HD was recommended and relatively affordable. He said he could do the job in Tarten Red for $4000. I purchased almost every chrome piece new from Moss or VB plus the new interior kit, carpet, door cards, dash pad , door cap covers, dynamat etc. The seats will be custom rebuilt by Precision Sewing in Pensacola. They will be recovered in black leather with red piping to match my new Moss Interior. The car has been painted twice since the first paint lifted. It now looks great and is mostly back together. The windshield and dash are still lacking, a few minor other things. The interior is still stripped so upholstery shop is next.
