I picked up the Original MGB and while looking I grabbed the green 1962 to 1974 service manual (a bit thicker than photos led me to believe). The Manual was interesting to leaf through, I bought it used so it is neat to see where the previous owner marked pages, it may be a bit premature to have bought it. Although I am greatly enjoying the original MGB and have learned a lot.

Started a car cash jar (numbers on a savings account is much less satisfying) in order to save up for a 69-74 MGB. I decided to start saving this now as I am finally coming out of grad school and will have a bit more free time. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and I have done the standard mechanical work on my prior vehicles. I found my love of MGs came from two cars I saw when I was young, a MGB and a Midget. The Midget would drive down the street next to my Highschool and coincidentally the MGB would fly by my home. Every once in while i would see them go by and eventually i looked it up and fell in love with little British Cars.
