of my 1967 MGB "ROADSTER" with upgraded 1969 "REBUILT" & COMPLETELY DETAILED in CORRECT MOSS RED/BURGUNDY PAINTED ENGINE w/virtually "no" miles on the rare 69' engine configuration w/the two oiling holes on each of the 5-main crankshaft main bearings (which started in late 68' and was discontinued in late 69/early 70')
BUT...NOTE!!!
I'VE DECIDED to FINISH-UP the interior on my
LOW MILEAGE motor car and install a matching set
of the correct early (no headrrest seats)
which I just acquired from a friend in the correct
BLACK w/WHITE piping in VINYL (not leather)and
in excellent condition and I will have professionally installed; the "NEW" in the BOX WHITE VINYL JC WHITNEY SOFT-TOP and correct "ORIG" Factory issue
(not re-pro) BLACK TONNEAU COVER
I have the "ORIG" BLACK LEATHER SETS w/white piping from THIS ACTUAL CAR..w/53k Miles on them (but over 40yrs old)
that I WILL BE SELLING (They have a few cracks and are in a wee bit dry condition) otherwise they are excellent & totally "ORIGINAL"...
I'm am currently having a 67 GEARBOX "Completely"
REBUILT & DETAILED and it will be professionally
installed here in approx 2-weeks...
The drive shaft has already been rebuilt w/new U-Joints
I have purchased a set of 5 "new" radial tires and new tubes and they will be installed and balanced on the freshly clean-up & freshly painted in correct Moss Silver paint on the wire wheels with "new" tubes
The brake system has been completley redone front & rear using the original factory rear brake drums recently turned & detailed w/a new shoe set & completely detailed inside backing plates and hardware and with new wheel cylinders; less than 2-months ago...
Fronts have w/new rotors freshly rebuilt & detailed calipers rebuilt master cylinder reservoir and all (3) flexible brake hoses/new tie rod ends and new rack boots...
I used the original brake pads as them only had 35k miles on them and were excellent...
The clutch master cylinder reservoir & clutch salve cylinders have been recently "rebuilt"
The fuel system was completely redone at the same time
w/ a refurbished and painted black detailed fuel tank
new sender unit gasket and I rebuilt and detailed and correctly mounted the original SU fuel pump..
The battery is a one type 12V only & is "new" as of 2 months ago and fits properly in the cavity..I have a Moss plastic storage box in the other side...
Both "orig" battery trays are excellent with very little or no rust and no repairs from new..
The battery cover is correct and excellent "orig"
The 4 hubs were all cleaned & detailed with new grease and re-greased bearings in the fronts and new hub seals..

Re: metal dash factory overdrive/wire wheel motorcar
after 6 years of ownership
and "new" 1969 completely rebuilt
and detailed engine upgrade
$6k worth of restoration recently completed...
some left to do..for a driver condition status
The orig interior black w/white piping panel kit will be used and cleaned up..
I will install a trunk/boot carpet and spare wheel cover
The spare wheel is excellent w/recently balanced new tire and tube..
