I am selling my 1967 MGB. British Racing White, with a black vinyl top and 4 speed gearbox with overdrive. The "B" currently has approximately 134,000 documented miles. I've had the car since December of 2008; I paid $4k for it and since then have invested as much as I paid, but it is time to let her go. The "B" has been my summer daily driver but my work has got me running all over the region and the car isn't practical for my work needs.

The "B" is a solid driver in good overall condition (as my mechanic so aptly put it "she ain't no trailer queen. . ."), but not so "prissy" as you'll be afraid to leave her anywhere, and with many of the mechanicals sorted out making the car a reliable daily driver. In a heated garage year round, driven only during good weather.

Since 2007:

Engine:
- Original engine was completely rebuilt by a highly reputable mechanic in Pendleton, OR, 11/2009, including hot tanked and machined block, machined crank, new camshaft, new pistons, new seals and bearings, rebuilt rocker assembly, machined head with new valves and guides. Approximately 3k miles since rebuild with no issues, parts purchased via a locally based reseller of Moss Motors.
- Since the rebuild only Mobil 1 15w-50 fully synthetic oil with ZDDP additive has been used, changed annually
- New radiator, hoses and thermostat
- New oil cooler and hoses
- Professionally rebuilt dual SU Carbs
- New water pump and seal

Suspension and drivetrain:
- Rear brakes
- Repacked wheel bearings
- Rebuilt rear axle
- New Front Shock Absorbers
- New Lower Control Arm Bushings

Electronics:
- Electronic Distributor
- Professionally rebuilt tachometer and speedometer
- New Smith's Oil Pressure/Temp Gauge
- New Wiper Motor

Body and Paint:
- One of the previous owner's had a repaint in the original British Racing White; have the receipt for $1600 but no date, assuming sometime in the late 80's. Paint overall is in "good" condition, but not perfect.
- There is limited rust "bubbling" under the paint in the front fender dog legs, which is not uncommon (pics are detailed in the album) but no other rust is present, not in the frame, not in the floor pans, not in the "boot" (trunk).
