Modified to similar to Sebring.
Engine has been upgraded
CP forged piston (custom)
Longer forged rods
Lightened flywheel
Cam is a 649 @104' 0.5" lift by Pipers
Race Alloy head from Peter Burgess.
New race harmonic balancer , roller rockers.
Engine rebuilt by Damico race engines in Norfolk UK now dynoed at 285hp.
Usual MGmotorsport mods tp susp, but I have 1" anti roll and stronger attachment, with rose jointed drop links.
205 x 60 x 15 Yoko 048 tyres on Minilite rims 15 x 7 f 15 x 8 rear. Maniflow exhaust n manifold. Rull FIA safety gear, cage fire ext etc, Race seats.
The alloy rad and fan is from Proalloy in UK very good runs very cool in fact too cool sometimes.
We have now changed the webers for ATpower throttle bodies and Typhoon ECU. I love the look of the webers but they are a pain to keep right.Will post pictures soon

I would like to inform you that I own the only MGC in Egypt it has a chassis No. 533 and engine serial No. 485 roadster convertible color English racing green . Please could you let me know what would be an optimum hot cranking pressure test values to determine an engine healthy conditions ? Thank you

Hot would be around 40-50 at 2000-4000 rpm idle 20psi can be lower if very hot, would suggest cleaning oil cooler.

Thank you so much for your kind reply ,but what I meant in my was question was the compression test pressure while engine hot at normal working temperature spark plugs removed , throttle fully opened and cranking the engine at max possible rate . IO would appreciate a reply to determine the quality range of my engine Thank you so much Megalli 533
