I'm retired from the Navy with 22 years of service. SCPO. Currently living in Virginia. The '65 is my return to the sports car that I loved as a younger man stationed in Hawaii in the early seventies. The '67 is my first foray into the GT world. She will be my every day driver.

Bought a set of rear window louvers from Dave Kalb (mgbtf). These were aftermarket items you could get for GT's back in the day. I think they will look great on the '67 GT. Will definately help with cooling in the rear and also slow down the fading of the rear carpet.

Finally got down today and put new tires on the wheels I got from Joemamma. Think they look pretty good. Got 185-65-14's. Probably should have went with 70 series like on the roadster but we'll see how these do.

Was very fortunate to find a grille for the GT. posted a WTB ad in the trader and Experience member Bill Kiger responded. He had a new grille which had never been installed. Got it for a great price and Bill said it is on the way. That is one big score as most vendors are back ordered with no date for restock. I was beginning to get worried that the GT would be sitting waiting for the grille. Now it is onward and upward on the resto. A big thank you out to Bill.
