This week end I started driving the B for the first time in about 4 years! We had a couple of false starts and we fixed the last major one this weekend by replacing the gas tank, the fuel lines and rebuilding the weber DGV carb. It was a great time finally being able to drive all around and enjoy the car. However there are a few issues. The main one being it's lack of performance. It took a very long time but the dash in my B is all done and working. My father and I started out with the metal backing from a '78 dash, welded up the top "pad" it's not very soft since it's made out of metal, and spent endless hours with the drill press making the engine turned aluminum cover. We also made a new glove box door and glove box. The little white knobs control the head lights, wipers, dimmer, choke, hazards and the vent.
