Wire We Here?

Jan 20, 2014 After initial inspection I saw exactly what I had suspected I would see. A wire harness that looked more like a wiring nest. Over the years, as problems arose from corrosion or kinked wires breaking, the various owners simply grabbed whatever they had on hand and crimped it in place. I have wires that start out brown and white, then have a blue crimp, and continue in red. My favorite is the yellow wire from the temp gauge that suddenly turns blue on the other side ...

The car arrived on January 4th, 2014. I was told it runs, but the starter is seized and there are obvious wiring issues. This is pretty much how I expected the car to arrive. I was looking for this specific model, and a project car that I could love... We named her Cricket.
