A British car nut for over 40 years now. I started back in 1969 with a rusty purple MGA I bought for $100 when I was 17 and was hooked for life. In fact I've never been without a British car in the past four decades. How sick is that? Bugeyes, Healeys, Jags, Midgets, GT-6, Spitfires, Stags, Mini Coopers, Morris Minors and even a Lotus Europa Mark 1. I must be addicted to rust I suppose, or allergic to reliable transportation. Oh, that's not to say I haven't strayed of course... there were Porsches and Alpha Romeos, Fiats, BMW's and the occasional Henry J Kaiser, but I always returned to my first true love... British rustbuckets. You can't live without them and you usually can't drive them. Go figure. Current disease: 1955 MGA 1500, chassis HDR4310373 (yes, she's a really early one!)
