Late 2009
-Head gasket blown on original cylinder head, as the car came with
-Bought a rebuilt head from FHECO on eBay for $500
-Fully magnafluxed, pressure tested, and rebuilt to original specifications. Hardened valve seats used and bronze valve guides. New everything.
-Installed with Payen head gasket
-New ARP Studs purchased for installation
-Head installed by a friend who works on Chevrolet race engines
-New Hayden aftermarket fan installed
-Coolant flushed & oil changed w/ NAPA Gold Filter
