Location The Abbey Resort, Lake Geneva, Fontana, Wisconsin, USA
Date August 11, 2015

For four mid-summer days, from Tuesday, August 11, 2015, through Saturday morning, August 15, 2015, the 2015 Vintage Triumph Register National Convention will take place on the shores of beautiful Geneva Lake in scenic southeast Wisconsin. The event will be hosted by the Illinois Sports Owners Association, which is committed to providing each registrant with a wonderful experience at the convention by offering not only first-rate social activities (welcome reception, pub crawl/scavenger hunt, optional excursion boat ride on Geneva Lake, and awards banquest with remarks from guest of honor, famed Triumph race team manager Kas Kastner). In addition, there will also be numerous driving events, including a funkhana, a gimmick rally, an ice cream run, a breakfast tour, an autocross and a self-guided tour along scenic Wisconsin rustic, country roads. There will also be technical clinics, an auction, a tour of Mecum Auto Auctions, a panoramic photo, the Participants’ Choice and Concours d’Elegance car show.

This will be the sixth national convention hosted by ISOA, and we believe that this will be our finest convention ever! While the Concours and Participants’ Choice are a major part of the convention, we encourage all Triumph enthusiasts to bring a Triumph - regardless of its condition.

The convention site will be in Fontana, Wisconsin on the shores of stunning Geneva Lake. Picturesque and uncongested nearby local roads are perfect for tours, rallies, and just plain Triumph driving pleasure. An excellent highway system puts Fontana within an easy two-day drive for over two thirds of the U.S. and Canada. The quaint lake shore village is only an hour from the northwest suburbs of Chicago or Milwaukee’s west side. It is also accessible by air (Chicago’s O’Hare Airport or Milwaukee’s General Mitchell Field) for those who choose not to drive.

The convention headquarters will be the iconic Abbey Resort and Conference Center. The newly remodeled facility has been the host of many successful past car conventions. The resort offers 334 luxury guest suites, 6,000 sq. feet of meeting space, a spa with indoor adult pool and fitness studio, high speed wireless connectivity, uniquely themed restaurants, shops, and it is the only full service resort on the shores of Geneva Lake. Located on the “quiet” side of Geneva Lake, it is still close to the numerous attractions in the Lake Geneva region, including golf, hiking, swimming, sailing, boating, miniature golf, and shopping in historic village of Lake Geneva.
